1. Pet Candy

The name Pet Candy already says it all. It is a delicious treat for your pet!

These plants have been grown without using herbicides or pesticides and are a delicious extra treat for your pet friends. Don’t you also want to keep your pets fit and healthy?
These houseplants are so decorative that they even brighten up your interior. Pet Candy keeps both man and animal happy!

For your cat, we have Cat grass, its Latin name is Cyperus Zumula. It is good for your cat, but also for your other plants. Since the cat grass is more attractive than your other ordinary plants, your cat will leave your other plants alone and go straight for the cat grass. No need to dose it; your cat knows exactly how much cat grass it wants to eat and can eat. Put the cat grass wherever you like.

We have the Nibble Fruit (turtle plant) for various types of birds, rodents and reptiles; its Latin name is Callisia Turtle. The idea is to feed your pet small quantities. Just snipping off a few stems will suffice for your pet. Nibble Fruit is suited for guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas, cockatiels, canaries, parrots, lovebirds, turtles, bearded dragons, lizards, iguanas and chameleons.

Specially for your rabbit, we have the Rabbit Caviar (spider plant); its Latin name is Chlorophytum Variegatum. Don’t put this plant in your rabbit’s hutch, but feed your rabbit a few twines at the time. Chlorophytum is a real delicacy that your rabbit will truly appreciate! This houseplant moreover has an air-purifying function.

All foodstuffs are intended for consumption by animals, not humans.

2. Sticky Flower

Your plant on a mirror, window, kitchen or shower tile or any other smooth surface?!
This is now possible.
Besides the standard methods of displaying your plant such as an ornamental pot or hanging pot rack, you can now put your plant on a mirror, window, refrigerator, bathroom tile, kitchen tile and so on.  Your potted plant will stick to any smooth surface because of the sucking cup.
The Sticky Flower® will stick to practically anything you can think of. And the fun part is that we offer hundred types of plants in a large variety of colourful pots.

3. Mikado, a golden choice.

How wonderful Mikado looks with its golden flower buds!

These little plants look best when they are placed side by side, the two of them, in fashionable decorative pots. Their flower buds truly look as though they are made of gold. Especially the combination of Mikado in a cylinder-shaped glass pot is really magnificent!

4. A miniature tree for your home.

This traditionally exclusive plant is now accessible for everyone! It will look splendid simply on your living room floor, but from late spring onwards, and throughout the summer, you can place it outside on your terrace or balcony. Bonsais are also available in small pots and bowls for the window sill, but of course these baby Bonsai trees too will look fantastic on your summertime garden table.

5. Natural colours are the trend

Nature makes a strikingly large contribution to one of the main trends of 2013: the usage of natural materials, natural colours, and shapes inspired by those that are found in nature. Shades of beige and soft-brown are the basis of a natural atmosphere.
Other colours that will prove fashionable this year include green, especially the more frosted hues, such as seaweed, khaki, lime tree and dark-green. This year’s hues of brown are mud and chocolate. You may also expect to see shades of purple, particularly mauve and violet, and some dark-grey as well.

6. Fragrant flower beauty.

This splendid orchid named Phalaenopsis is a true enrichment to your interior. This plant can blossom and flower endlessly, especially when it receives the appropriate plant care. The white Phaleanopsis species looks wonderful in a chrome-coloured pot. These pots are available in many different varieties. You will find seven out of the innumerable orchid species here on our website.

7. Your house plants in glass.

Glass still is very fashionable. Glass vases are available in countless shapes and sizes. Think of classy cylinder-shaped vases, or funny cube-shaped pots like the one you see on the photo. You can place some coloured grit at the bottom and place your plants on top. But very beautiful too are the glass pots with the opaque lower halves, so that you do not see the plastic pot from the outside.

9. Hanging plants

Hanging plants.. We see too few of them. Hanging plants can cheer up those forgotten corners of your home. And especially in case you do not have sufficient space for house plants on your floor, hanging plants can prove to be the ideal solution. These hanging plants can just as well be placed on top of a tall bookcase, cupboard or living room cabinet. Or on top of the wardrobe in your bedroom. Let them drape down nicely. At Take-a-way trends you will find Aeschynanthus Twister and Rasta, both very trendy species of flowering hanging plants. With their beautiful red flowers they are sometimes nicknamed ‘Lipstick plants’. They are available in plastic pots with a ring, but you can easily repot them into something special of your own taste.
