The Phalaenopsis is a plant that has lately become more and more popular. Nowadays an interior, whether classic or modern, cannot do without it.

This splendid orchid’s name is composed of two words. Phalaina means “night butterfly” and opsis means “resembles”. No need for further explanations.

You can easily make Phalaenopsis bloom for months. And when it is out of flower? Just cut off the flowerstem, just above the fourth thickening. Within a couple of weeks a new flowertwig will develop. And the enjoyment can start again!

Place a couple of them together in a nice large bowl! Or set some of them apart in the same kind of pots and put them in line with the flowers pointed towards the same direction. That will look fashionable!
